A hidden gem

In this month’s issue of the New Yorker magazine-not usually the place for profound theological thought, this gem lies hidden

“Throughout American history, the most successful church movements have not been the ones that kept up with contemporary culture, but the ones that were confident enough to tug hard against it.”

I try hard not to argue with people clearly more intellectually astute than myself.
